On May 27th through May 30th, the Everyone Goes Home® program will be conducting a Safety Through Leadership Train-the-Trainer Workshop at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD.

A pilot Safety Through Leadership course was conducted last summer at the University of Richmond, sponsored by the Virginia Fire Chiefs Association and the Everyone Goes Home® Program. The program was evaluated extremely positively and is ready to be rolled out nationally.

The train-the-trainer will prepare a corps of instructors who will be asked to train within their communities and regions.

Spots in the workshop will be competitively awarded. All funding is being provided through a Fire Act Grant. Housing, meals and a travel stipend will be provided to those who are selected.
